Granite Falls Municipal Hospital’s Level IV Emergency Department is trained and equipped to provide initial treatment for a broad spectrum of illnesses, injuries, emergencies, and to efficiently stabilize and prepare patients with severe injuries for transport. As a designated Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) hospital, we ensure that seriously injured patients have access to a broad spectrum of organized trauma care. The expert emergency medical team provides a complete range of emergency services, including rapid evaluation and care for heart attack and stroke. We are committed to help provide life-saving emergency measures to a severely injured person.
At Granite Falls Municipal Hospital, we meet standards of commitment by continually ensuring its clinical equipment resources and staff training is met. This supports active involvement within the hospital as well as pre-hospital. Advanced Life Support ambulance service, is critical to patient care, which means our paramedics and EMT’s have the skills, training, licensure and medical supervision to begin the process of diagnosing, stabilizing and treating patients in the field, before their arrival at the ER.
