Whether the stay is long or short, the Granite Falls Manor staff works with residents and/or families to maintain a high quality of life. Connected to the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital and Affiliated Community Medical Center, the Manor’s 57 bed facility is easily accessible to emergency, laboratory, respiratory, radiological and hospice services as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy services. Three meals a day, afternoon coffee time and bedtime snacks are prepared by the dietary department. Laundry and housekeeping services are provided seven days a week.
With 24 hour skilled nursing care to its residents, we work with residents to help them achieve and maintain their highest practical level of functioning and offer restorative rehabilitation services, as well as a Hospice dedicated room. Another focus in the Manor is our Resident Centered Care. This philosophy focuses on a “home-like” environment with consistent care providers. Our staff strives to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Family members, friends and pet visits are welcome any time.
Making the transition into the nursing home easier for residents and families, the social services department serves as an advocate and a referral source for residents, families and staff members. The social worker also aids residents or family members in obtaining financial assistance, if necessary and is available Monday through Friday.
Entertainment programs, games, church services, music programs, exercise groups, and crafts are just some of the activities provided by the activities department. There is a strong focus on providing personalized activity programs to meet each resident’s leisure interests. We also offer a wide variety of community outings such as trips to the local casino, out to lunch, shopping, boating or just a drive around town. The “Red Hat Ladies” club meets monthly at the Manor.
